What's for dinner?
This question is usually followed by, "I'm not eating that"! Anyone have that same problem? What's the trick? Thinking about having some sort of reward system for trying new food, and for not whining about it. Nothing worse than making a great new recipe and hearing that!
Here is a great, easy crock-pot recipe that doesn't usually get the "Yucks".
Crock-Pot Honey Mustard Chicken
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 bottle Paul Newmans Honey Mustard Dressing (or your favorite salad dressing, anything works)
1 small bag baby carrots
Combine all ingredients in a crock-pot. Cook low 6 hours. Serve over noodles
Yum! (Now that's what I like to hear!)
How do you deal with the "Yucks"?

That's sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteWe let our kids each choose a couple meals on the menu. Then if they complain on someone else's night, they lose one of their choices. They love having a say in what's for dinner and they complain less because they know their turn will come around soon.
